Beacon Light operates multiple, privately licensed school programs designed to provide education for children who have been unsuccessful in traditional classroom settings. Programs offer the opportunity for academic success, and encourage students to value education and learning-all within a safe, structured setting. Alternative education is available to children living in the community or in one of Beacon Light's residential programs. Additionally, Beacon Light offers a highly customized, autistic support classroom.

Children's Center for Treatment and Education

The majority of our alternative education classes consist of around 12 to 15 students. Students work on developing skill sets that will help them improve study habits. Teachers spend additional time working one on one with students as needed. Alternative Education programs also feature Math, Reading, and Technology labs. Additionally, each classroom is staffed with an educational aide to provide academic support.
