Typical Daily Activities
Children in residential services typically follow this schedule:

Early Morning Routine |

Attend Alternative Education Program |
|
(Special Education teachers work in classroom settings by age groups, but within homogeneous grouping abilities. Students receive individualized reading and math instruction with reading or math specialists. |

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. |
Attend Day Treatment Program |
|
Participate in group therapy, living skills groups, recreational therapy, and individual therapy at least once per week, and meeting with psychiatrist at least once per month. |

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. |
Transportation back to residential units. |

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. |
Participation in one or more of the following with staff: |

*Programmed activities include recreational, educational, social, cultural, vocational activities which promote personal and interpersonal development, social development, and life skills. These are scheduled in the community and on-grounds.
