Emergency Shelter Care
The Emergency Shelter is our most flexible environment of care. It is designed to meet the immediate needs of children who are in crisis, and is available when removal from the home is required to prevent injury or danger to the child or other family members. The Beacon Light Shelter is the only program of its kind in McKean and surrounding counties. The client to staff ratio is never more than 4:1.
