Our Mission is to advocate passionately for the individuals and families we serve.

The Mission Award will recognize staff whose actions have enhanced or reflect furtherance of our Mission and Commitments.

Green Lapel Pin           Black Lapel Pin

Nominations will be tracked, reported and analyzed by the Mission Team. Each qualified nominee will receive a green lapel pin. Once an individual receives 4 green lapel pins they will receive a black lapel pin, a Mission Team shirt, and an invitation to attend the annual Employee Recognition luncheon. Once a person has been given a black pin, they are then able to “share” their green pins with co-workers who they see carrying out the mission of the Agency. Staff receiving pins should wear them on their name badge or lanyard to show their commitment to the Agency Mission.

All valid Nominees will receive an invitation to the Annual Awards luncheon that will include the chance to win over $2000 worth of raffle items in lieu of the $50 monthly prize that was awarded to employees who won the STAR Award.

Examples of Criteria for Determination of Award Recipients:

  • Nominee has gone above and beyond basic expectations of the program or of the individual making the nomination.
  • Nominee has significantly impacted the lives of those we serve.
  • Nominee has implemented ideas that have resulted in improved service, cost savings, or streamlined processes.
  • Single situations or overall excellent work can be highlighted for nomination.
  • Nominee has positively impacted the rights of those persons we serve.
  • Nominee has used innovative approaches that have positively impacted programs or individual clients.
  • Nominee’s actions have demonstrated the agency’s mission and commitments in significant ways.
